This ancient tradition of breath, movement and meditation developed within the Hindu culture of the Indian subcontinent becomes the practitioner's sacred ritual. Yoga can have dramatic effects on the lives of many people.
Yoga for a beginner is best practiced under the supervision of an experienced teacher. For students who are in good health and who are not pregnant; the fold should be guided by the breath, while elongating the spine. When one gets physically better, you can argue that the person gets better mentally.
During your practice, you'll surely shed hair and skin from your hands and feet. Lack of motivation is the reason for diet and exercise failure. Perhaps you will find that blood pressure problems improve, or back pain may improve or even just that you get a better nights sleep.
Yoga clears your mind and helps you focus your attention. It helps you gain control over your thinking instead of being at the mercy of wayward thoughts.
